ALSO PRESENT: Councillor Douglas Philand , Hazel Gray, Mark Boyd, Val Whale, Dougie Smylie

MINUTES OF LAST MEETING
Concerns still surround the noise from the quarry made worse since the removal of trees which buffered the sound. Lorries have also been seen moving at 7am. Lack of blasting information has been raised informally. Councillor Douglas Philand to make enquiries.
- The new bank account is now up and running.
- The requested salt spreader is being purchased.
All expressed concern over lack of lighting supplied to the village during the festive period. A cherry picker was made available but, despite being in the area, was not put to use by the operative. The council was not informed of the grant given to cover costs of transferring responsibility from council to community council for Christmas lighting. The council is determined that this is not repeated and will look to train up an electrician(s) to ERG39 standard.
We need to raise money to do our own lights from now on.
No applications have been received.
