Outside the village hall took on a royal gala feel with flags and bunting, along with equally decorated tablecloths and paper cups, to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The street was transformed, helped by the beautiful weather. Copious cups of tea and plenty of chat, not to mention the scoffing down of delicious cake and sausage rolls alongside plenty of chat and laughter added to the spirit of the occasion.
